Actions always have results and we live only in the present: two truths Buddhism teaches, realised through zazen
Mike says that Buddhism offers the modern world two simple truths, which he says belong to everybody and not only to Buddhism: what we do always has a result, and we live only in the present. Buddhism adds, in his view, that people who called themselves Buddhists have taught these truths for many years, and that it also has a simple physical practice, zazen, through which we can start to realise them. Mike adds that understanding this is easy and living it is very difficult.
